LUCIE LYNCH, Playwright, Composer, Lyricist
Lucie is a 38 year old international singer/songwriter from Hamburg, Germany. After graduating from the University of Performing Arts in Hamburg in musical theatre,Lucie performed her hugely successful, original one-woman show, Gabriele’s Universe, throughout Germany from 2001-2005.
She’s been writing her own music since 1992 and has released four CDs. Lucie has appeared on radio and television throughout Europe and the United States. Currently based in Honolulu, Lucie Lynch has opened for international cult band Marillion in Canada, and is a regular guest at music festivals around the Hawaiian Islands.
Her new band Lucie & the Perfect Wave, a genre-bending fusion of slack-key, electric guitar, and her powerful vocals, just released their debut album, Live at Medici's.
MARCIA ZINA MAGER, Playwright, Composer, Lyricist
Marcia is a 60 year old international author, journalist, award-winning poet, award-winning mixed-media artist, and performer, originally from Brooklyn, New York. Marcia’s fiction and non-fiction books, including her international best-seller, Believing in Faeries: A manual for grown-ups, have been translated into 8 languages. She studied at Honolulu’s Laughtrack Theatre, and with Academy Award Winning actor Alan Arkin. Marcia also works with and inspires writers around the country as The Write Coach.
In 2012 she debuted her original one-woman show, Who The Bleep Am I? in Hawaii, including the Oahu Fringe Festival. As an actress, rap artist, and slam poet, Marcia’s stage performances include HPU, The Venue, Aloha Tower Marketplace, Gordon Biersch, Ward Rafters, The Arts at Mark’s Garage, and Fresh Café.
In 2013 she appeared as a guest star on Hawaii Five O, and was recently invited to audition for America’s Got Talent.
